Year 1 Dinosaurs
What began as a peaceful stroll quickly turned into an exciting adventure when Year 1 spotted something very unexpected - a dinosaur staring back at them through the window!
Full of curiosity and excitement, the children continued exploring and were amazed to discover another dinosaur hidden amongst the bushes in the School garden. There were lots of gasps, wide eyes and excited whispers as they tried to work out how these prehistoric creatures had appeared in our School.
Thankfully, the children were relieved to learn that the dinosaurs were herbivores. Inspired by their incredible discovery, Year 1 returned to the classroom buzzing with ideas and imagination. They channelled their excitement into writing some fantastic dinosaur stories, filled with adventure, description and creativity.
What an unforgettable morning of sunshine, surprises and superb storytelling!
